I can, it rotted the rubber insert on my f150 door check. It didn't happen overnight, but 8 months later it was goo. There's even a warning on the can that it might be harmful to rubber. My first line of defense is 3M cavity wax get the wand kit spray it in the frame internals and everywhere else and be done with it.

 

That would not be something I'd use anywhere near, for example, a CV boot.
Replacing those can get rather expensive.

[EDIT] Some people use motorcycle chain lube.
From what I can tell, it's basically Waxoyl.
I have chain lube in a spray can, but I'm not using it on my truck.
Cuz it's pricey stuff.

 

I've used Waxoyl on my F150 and five years later no body rust. It's just a PITA to get because only Rovers North sells it vs. 3M Cavity wax can be had right down the street.

 

Probably basically the same thing.
Wax and a carrier of some kind like mineral spirits and/or light machine oil.

 

I went through a Burger King drivethru late at night, ordered a #1 large Whopper combo, male voice comes back, "You want chiz on that?" I say, "What? What is chiz?"

Dude says in an irritated voice like it's my fault, "Cheeeese, cheeeeese!!!" Told him cancel the order and drove on through. I was hungry, but I didn't want a pissed off mojado serving me a meal.

 

Wouldn't it be nice if I coulda done that. Hahah.

But all good, I dont mind the longer hours. More money to save for moving closer to my kids.

Yeah, It's always been my practice to stay on good terms with people who have direct contact with my food. No doubt my ex snuck a few things in on me over the years.
