Grinding noise when turning wheel

I bought an '09 Tacoma yesterday and they told me at the dealership they needed to replace one of the bearings and that they would have me bring it to them this coming Monday to do the work.

The truck has a high-pitched whine that gets worse with acceleration that I'm assuming is the bearing. Forgive my stupidity in this matter, but could this also be causing this loud grinding noise when I cut the wheel during a turn? It sometimes happens when going up/down my driveway as well, but is definitely more noticeable during a hard turn. I thought it may be tire rubbing but I had someone watch me turn and they confirmed it is not. Any help is appreciated.

 

Sounds like a cv joint.... 4x4?

 

No sir, just a 2WD. I figured it may have to do with the bearing since it's only happening on one side (right turns).

 

Ok, check the ball joints also, if the grinding is under braking, you may have shit the pads or a corroded rotor.
