Is there like, this jealousy thing going on towards Tacoma owners?

So like, of course I have been excited to have my new (to me), Tacoma and share my excitement with family members and friends.

Now LOOK. I haven't overdone it. Swear to that. I made sure I didn't.

But..it seems like everytime I say something now about how I like it or how I am getting use to it or anything about it, it seems that friends and fam are wishing I would just shut up about it.

Maybe I should just shut the cake hole under my nose unless I am on here.

 

It's a truck. Get over it

 

Sometimes all folks (including myself), can be a little over talkitive about our new trucks or guns or TVs or fishing gear or whatever it is.

If everyone is telling you to stop you likely are being a little over the top.

Don't talk about it with them for a while.

Don't worry, all of us here are happy to talk about them.

I have had trucks the past 25 years. I didn't do all my research and looking for over 5 months to "get over it". I get over people pissing me off on the interstate, stupid moronic employees at stores and people that tell me to "get over it". That I can get over.

Having fun and being joyful, I will share.

It is a truck folks covet, so, they bitch about you talking about it.

They are jelly that they ain’t got one.

So naturally they don’t want to hear bout it.

Done concern your self with it, enjoy and talk about it to all that will listen. ( usually other taco owners)

 

Whoa!! Hate to highjack my own thread but where did you get that dog? I had one for 16 years that looked just like that one. Best damn dog I ever had. Looks like a beagle, chihuahua mix?

Ban him... for 3 weeks so he can't talk about how cool his truck is.

 

I'll just use good old southern smart ass. When they ask I am just going to tell them it is using oil, backfiring, smoking out of the interior vents and how bad I wish i had bought a good old American Dodge.

 

He followed me home one day... vets think he is chiwennie with a possible corgi influence.

They probably just think of their vehicles as a conveyance and have no attachment whatsoever to them. So they don't understand your excitement.
You'll have to find others that share your enthusiasm. People that actually enjoy their vehicles. That would be the people here.

Sounds like your being way over the top with it. Its not that cool anymore to have a 2nd gen used tacoma . Be more humble.

 

I got a 2nd gen and I talk about it alot too, as I am excited, and drive the hell out of it, even just around town. Dont be afraid to brag about it and show off those mods. You did mod it somehow didnt you?? If not, you are way behind!!
