I'm just gonna crank up the central air and enjoy the cool temperature knowing our electricity bill is covered in our rent.

 

Nothing will get done till next week anyway, I’ve just been lazy, off to send an email.

That doesn't make any sense, if you're renting you shouldn't be financially responsible for repairs...unless maybe you broke it

What qualifies as "improper use" of the AC lol, you either have it on or have it off

 

It’s really minimal damage but being what it is and the age it would possibly get totaled.

Going below a certain temp or having windows open

 

I'd say that's an inefficient way to use the AC, but I don't see how that hurts it other than making it run longer than it should and run up your electricity bill. But either way, I don't see how they can accuse you of doing that unless your electric bill has been sky high

I think most people know how to use an AC the right way, it sounds like the landlord put that in there to avoid having to pay for repair

 

Well they better ask before they charge me to fix it, cause I’m not paying haha
