One thing for certain is a lot of experts appear after a big quake has hit.

He's been into earthquake predictions plate tectonics for 10 years . Also his name was mentioned during the USGS - CALTECH news conference in Ridgecrest . Also has called out Dr Lucy Jones and others over predicting earthquakes

He also predicted the 6.4 earthquake that hit Socal and now is warning of an seismic event in Socal by July 11th

Let's face fact here. Predicting earthquakes is historically about as accurate as timing the market. You only here about people that can "predict" either when their predictions, that they make thousands of, time out to an actual event that meets the criteria of the prediction. The rest of the time you here absolutely nothing because the prediction was inaccurate, which is 97% of the time.

I don't know enough about this dude, but some folks a lot smarter than I am think Janitchs' method is like this:

No. It’s just blind chance. He takes a place like Indonesia or Italy or the West coast of the Americas where there are lots of earthquakes, with a recurrence rate of a few days and then says there will be an earthquake in the next week. And nearly always there is. Because it would be the same no matter what week of the year he made the prediction for.

And then his followers pester the experts asking them to publish hiis baseless predictions. All they would do is to scare people at random locations around the world for no purpose. That is why they refuse to publicize his work when people try to share these “predictions” on their Facebook groups - and then he berates them for censorship.

He doesn’t have a clue and is often debunked - by those who bother to pay attention to him at all.

Quite a few mid 4 aftershocks over the last few days near Coso Junction . Then this morning at 0615hrs a strong 4.9 aftershock hit just East of Ridgecrest which I felt . Then a few small aftershocks in Barstow and Apple Valley

It's only 45 miles from Bishop to the Long Valley caldera ( super volcano) , it's a safe area !!
