I do have the same housings with Morimoto Elite hid's, but I haven't seen any color. I should find a white surface to see if I do have any color or not. I have ordered the xb led's in hopes they are better than what I have now so we will see

    Thanks @MESO for the review!

    Three questions:

Can you replace the led of the high or low beam if they stop working?

Do you have the specs of the low and high beams in terms of color temp, lumens and power (watt)?

Why there is three lights? Are two for high beam and one for low beam?

    Thanks!
    Mat

    @MESO
should we expect lower output on the XBs since they've now smoked the covers in the final production? or does the tint make little to no difference?
    Also curious about this...

Definitely not for everyone. And that's ok. But they will make a lot of people happy.

So if you have an SR5 can you still use the sequential style turn signal / LED or do you lose some function?

    Got my answer
Had to go way back in thread, you're correct....
    And about this...
I can't find where it was said but the drl diffuser and outer headlight housing were changed from clear and are now smoked in the final production. Just wondering if that lowers light output a good amount or if doesn't make much of a difference?

Nevermind, I think it's just the side markers and drl diffusers that got smoked. The outer covers seem clear in some of the newer pics. Which then won't make a difference in those light output results.
    Carry on

The only difference for an SR5 is the fuse tap.

I've never bought aftermarket headlights but I'm hating the chrome inside my stock headlights. I'm considering these but have a question. Install doesn't look too bad, but once installed how do you adjust the beams? Is it just adjusting the position of the housing by loosening the bolts and then tightening after reposition or is there some means to do it on the rear of the housing? Not clear on this and the install instructions don't provide any details.

There’s a screw that you turn on the backside makes the beam go up and down

@MESO Do these come perma or butyl sealed and did you have to fab/print a bracket for the M-LEDs?

    PROJECT ALL-AMBER is underway.
Instead of powering the turn signal light on all the time, I wanted to keep the same switchback/DRL circuit. So I removed the White LEDs, and swapped them with amber.

I just happen to have some chips that are the exact wavelength. Perfect match!

Is it true that there are no bulbs to replace once a light burns out.

Correct. The LEDs are supposed to last long enough that isn’t an issue. The same is true for OEM LED headlights.

I believe they can be sent in to be serviced? Now what you do in the mean time I am unsure, but I don't think the intent is to just toss them when a light goes out.

Hahaha. I don't know if I would have bought these if my intent was to retrofit. Now that you have some popped open... If someone were to have a bulb go out how hard would it be to DIY?
