    Nothing like building a Water Table for the USS Enterprise refit only to find it is to wide to get out the door at the shop.

    14'2" x 60'

    Then get to the Phila Navel Yard when unloading with two cranes one crane fails !

    The good crane operator was so sharp he hauled it so it was almost standing on end kept it from hitting the ground

    This was the ill fated trip it needed to be towed into Norfolk because the boiler tubes failed I can`t recall if crewmen were killed or injured. Young clueless Weld Engineer not his best day

    Using 70S wire. Not likely.

    I had one of mine get hit by a semi truck at a stoplight. It actually slightly improved the clearance between the kickout and the rear door.

    I want to see some close ups of the cuts. Are you running any THC?

    I will take a couple pics. Very very clean in my opinion. I’m usually doing 14 gauge and 1/8” every once in a while 3/16”. Using a Hypertherm powermax 30 XP. No THC. For what I’m doing I don’t need it.

    @koditten

    Not the greatest pictures but here you go. Pretty damn clean edges. Pics don’t do it justice. No clean up at all here. Very minimal dross that chips right off super easily with a slag hammer

    @Shmellmopwho
    Going to explain the "THC" to this dummy?
    Guessing it's not what I interpreted.

    Hahaha yes as @In4aride said “torch heigh control”

    If you have a THC on your table it will move the z axis up and down. My machine is basic and doesn’t have a Z axis. Only X and Y but it’s all good for what I’m using my table for.

    Having a THC helps a decent amount with cut quality and with consumable life

    With the way Esab Customer Service is you would need to pay me 3 times the cost of the item to use any Esab Product.

    Many of my Customers will no longer sell Esab products!!

    Those 2 3M is the better.

    If it works your ahead unless it was from family or a good friend I would have charged to haul it away!!

    If it lives in a dry place it could last a long time most failures are transformers breaking down

    Best complaint of the week!!

    My welder is not welding correct!! Miller Multimatic 215 What process ?? " Welding"

    Have you read the operators manual ?? " No I can weld why do I need to read anything"

    You do understand if it is user error it is going to cost you and it is not covered under warranty ??

    Part of me misses the days with one dial on the power source one dial on the feeder if were far enough in time when wire welding was in reach of the one person and smaller fab shops .

    This is exactly why multi process machines are wasted money in my opinion.

    Daughters future Father in law offered it up. He is the original owner and it has been kept dry . He fired it up while I was there I need to get a plug for it as he wanted to keep that. Then I'll try it out.

    There is a niche market when they are used outside that area it causes problems

    One of those things for the most a comprise but when the Chinese offer these things up dirt cheap so to speak.

    You gotta look and say do we want to try and get any market share ?

    Then not everyone has the room for 2 or 3 different machines some machines live under the bed or kitchen table .

    I have a Optrel Panoramaxx and absolutely love it. It meets all the requirements mentioned above.
