    I try not to get rid of any mud dauber nests since the blue daubers primarily hunt black widows. I don't know if I have any of the blue ones around, but I leave the nests just in case. After all, any dirt dauber you have is a spider killing machine and worth having around.

    I have plenty of frogs and chickens to keep the insects down, but see no reason to protect black widows, so the daubers will be staying.

    He has eyes like a jumping spider so he can account for distance
    But he is fairly large....
    Would be scary to see him jumping as quick a jumper could.....

    I once ordered belltech shackles from Jegs & it came with a huge brown spider. I released it in the woods. Pretty sure it's common to get a spider in pkg from Ohio LoL
