There are some no camping signs along the way, but I’m sure as long as you don’t have a campfire you should be good to go!

I had the sail panels made for me by a custom audio shop. There is no way I could have made them and had them turn out like that. It is just standard speaker wire from the tweeter to the amp to connect them.

Took it to the dealer for a rear diff howl. They say that noise is "normal". "It's probably the tonneau cover that is making it sound louder" they said. So, now I get to deal with that mess.

Rich has top quality products. I have had many of his products on my truck for 2 years or more. Never an issue. I have bought a couple of things from other vendors and some only lasted a month before starting to peel. I only promote good products. If you want quality vinyl that will hold up to weather and daily use then @rrentrop is the only person on my vendor list. He sells the "Clazzio" of vinyl (yes another fine vendor).

Wow! That’s almost exactly the audio build I’m looking to put in (have a pioneer 4500nex to wire up this morning). How does it sound? Did you end up going active up front? Where did you have the amp and twk mounted? Using stock speaker wire or ran new?

I am only using front tweeters, front 6x9, and sub. The back speakers have been removed. The system is fully active with each speaker being an independent channel from the amp. The Twk was professional tuned as I didn't have an RTA (and wouldn't know how to use one if I did). I have it tuned so for best sound at the drivers seat as that is how my truck is used 75% of the time. I used new 12 gauge speaker wire.

The TwK and amp are mounted under the drivers seat. I know this can cause issues with deep water but I don't think that will be an issue for me...at least I hope not. They were both mounted on a plastic board above the carpet that hopefully provides some protection..

    It sounds f$#@% awesome!

Ok, that pretty much convinced me to try fabbing tweeters onto the sail panels. I have a extra set of panels I picked up a while back to do this, maybe its time to start a build thread ...
