Will you still be able to slide the seat forwards? I wanted to do something similar but mount it on the drivers seat.

Yes, but the results make up for it! Fighting the body panel is the worst of it, and it seems like it can't be done. Stay strong, brother!!!IMG_7791.jpg

Yep, the only way I know to replace it is to get a new door and rivets.

LOL, just think how many minutes that might save over the life of the truck. I'm not particularly fond of the clip hanger either. And the gasshole does look better...looks like it was intended to hold the cap....................................which of course, it was :) .

I usually just let it hang down. I doubt it's going to damage the bed side, and if it does....well **shrug**.

The same shit everyone else has.
    We’ll find out.

It’s an access cab with the rear seats removed (and replaced with a platform) so no one rides in the back. I’m the only one who drives my trucks so I’ve never moved either seat from their current location. I’m only 5’9” with a 30” inseam so the seats already slid pretty far forwards.

I’ll make a new post when I make progress so keep an eye out.

I thought about drivers side but if it were to ever come loose for whatever reason, it would be a huge mess with it rolling around under the pedals.

Replaced my wipers, flushed out my wiper fluid reservoir, replaced my disgusting cabin air filter, and added these new headlights. Unfortunately, I'll need to get with Tacomabeast because the passenger projector went out after 10 minutes of driving (I was on a flat road and didn't even hit a bump). In the meantime though, they still look great and my new LED fog lights and the light bar are bright enough to drive safely.

I started out with the goal of chasing a noise i hear turning lock to lock in 4wd...

When i took my wheels off and the usual suspects were all tight i figured run it until it talks louder or something breaks.
I then moved on to an abs light, i had a feeling i knew what one it was and tried a week ago to get it out with no sucess. Today i gave her hell and pulled it in half. I had to drill the remaining part out and heat up a screw to get it all out. It came right out with the screw and immediately i knew why it wasnt working - it was covered in grease. I think it must have been wheel bearing grease possibly tie rod grease that ran down onto the knuckle.
So after looking into the abs hole with a flashlight, i knew i had to take it all apart to get the grease out of there... And in doing so i noticed my axle nut was finger tight - i hope that was the cause of my 4wd noise!
I cleaned the splines with brakleen and put a tint bit of new grease on them and put it back together.

Then i decided to stop stepping on this old s10 bed mat everyday and cut it to fit my ned. It was in my 97 s10, then a 01 ranger, then an 07 tacoma now my 06 tacoma.
What a life for a bed mat!

One of my wheel speed sensors got destroyed when a wheel bearing went bad. I took a gamble and replaced it with a non OEM Amazon part. 25$ for both fronts. This was 2 years ago, and the part is still working fine.
