If you are looking for a great place to stay in Maine, I recommend Mount Chase Lodge. Great food and rustic lodging, on the edge of Maine’s biggest woods.
I am not affiliated with the lodge, although I have stayed there.

Update, they found Matthew and he’s OK! Thank you to everyone who helped keep an eye out. I don’t know the details yet but know he’s with his family and in good condition.

I’m interested, folks keep keep chatting about it, but we can’t seem to make it happen. I got about everything we need, except a big enough compressor

@Pugga very good to hear, that must have been frightening for the family.

We have a family place my great grandfather built in Ellsworth, it’s probably my favorite place on earth, just so many good memories and I don’t worry about a damn thing when I’m there. But thanks for the tip!

Talked to the wife this morning, she is down for a little trip and her mother will look after our dogs, which saves us a lot of money. So I booked a little home somewhere in NH 3 hours from us on a lake. Will go Sunday morning until Tuesday morning the week after this. Don’t even know what the town is called, or if there’s fun stuff around. It’s on the water and it reminded me a lot of our camp in Maine.

    Now back to the wedding!

I’ll be buying a compressor soon for cleaning vinyl siding on my house and the deck too. I’m thinking 1500 -2000 PSI Not sure if that’s too strong or not. Any advice on that would be helpful. Also gonna get a foam cannon and stuff for that too.

We just left Cape Neddick this morning after being at a Vrbo off shore road for a week. Great spot for sure. Looks to be a great week weather wise.

@Pibbles99 , 1500-2000 psi pressure washer is not really that strong. It is something that will do a car and light stuff around the house but a deck and siding is going to be difficult. All pressure washers have the same amount of pressure at the tip as they advertise, but if you change the nozzle, on them it fans out the pressure. If you have a second story house, you will need at least a 2500-2800 psi washer to get the power to get up to the height you need without dispersing into thin air. With a deck, you want to fan out the pressure as much as possible and use it like a water scraper. I would say for you application, a minimum of a 2500 and a max of 3000 as long as you can fan out the burst of water. Any pressure washer is going to do the job, it is just going to determine how long you are out there doing the job or letting the pressure washer do it for you.

Not sure, something that you could use with air sprayer if you were to paint. I have a little “pancake” style one, think one with torpedo type tank would be fine.

Alot depends on the GPM also.
There is a big difference of 2000 psi @1.5 GPM then 2000 psi @ 2.5 GPM
