Only true if the manufacturer doesn’t develop and demonstrate a safe system.

Come on, I wouldn’t think you of all people would be posting false things like this. I would never post “I believe I read OVTune is a Russian virus”.

Without CARB approval, it is illegal, regardless if it's safe or not. There are many CARB approved parts that aren't safe for the vehicle, if that is what you mean by safety. If you mean safe for the environment, that's debatable, as the vast majority of harmful emissions come from cold starts, not intakes or other parts. Although I'm not against the CARB process or California laws. We do not have plans *at this time* to get CARB approval.

Yes, by safe, I mean CARB approval. My point is there are lots of aftermarket power adders, headers, intakes, etc. that are legal in California. It is not illegal to sell or run these things in California.

Thank you for posting prices for the super chargers but I have a question. Your web site states that the turbo kits don’t come with the tunes but the super charger kits do come with the tunes. Does this mean that you will give a discount for those of us who already have the tunes for the super chargers? Thanks for your hard work.

I'm updating the product info right now. It's the same as the turbo kit. Both the turbo and S/C Flashes will be available on flash manager. You need our flash kit to get the tune. the S/C / Turbo kit does not come with the flash kit.

“Water to Air Intercooler system with heat exchanger and pump.”
Can anyone elaborate some detail on what this is for the supercharger?

Meth injection actually wouldn’t be a bad idea.

Yes and no. I don't think anyone is trying to turn their taco into a race truck. Methanol injection seems unnecessary.

I'm curious how we go about opting for Air to Air with the stage two setup and if the cost is greater than the standard stage 2. Exciting stuff... Can't wait for Mat to start pumping these out.

Water to air uses water as a cooling medium instead of air, it can be much more efficient than air to air if its chilled with ice but that is more reserved for pure race applications such as high end diesel pullers. Most ice talked to can melt through 25 or more LBs of ice in a single pull. A water to air is also adding a fair bit of complexity due to water hoses and additional radiator and pump etc.

Very very curious on the power delivery curves of SC and Turbo kits! We need dyno sheets! Lol. OVtune, the water to air cooler looks like it sits ontop of the engine?

Huh.... Looks like the TT setup came out cheaper than the SC setup. That surprised me, particularly as I was planning on the SC for a simpler install/maintenance. Or am I misreading something?
