    They were a tad crusty. Gonna look at another yard that claims to have 2 1st gens on the lot today. Hopefully one of the IS300's they have is a manual too.... I want that steering wheel.

    It was in there, old style with square cup holders though. A tan new style console is pretty rare as Ive found out while trying to get mine.

    $80. I found it in a somewhat local yard via car-part.com. The yard wasnt self serve though, I sat in an A/C'd waiting room while some dude pulled it for me.

    The only one I could find currently for sale and it happens to be 15 minutes from where mom lives. But these bad boys certainly were overbuilt. The longer model VT16 actually had a little toilet inside which would be hella convenient. There is a little cult following of them. Looks like Uhaul got ahold of the forms from the Burro and Casita makers back then and just started running them on their own brand. Very high quality stuff.

    The real issue they should be making laws against is people hiding behind cars - much more effective and less costly. Idk I’ve driven large vehicles with no rear windows and using the mirrors worked if I paid attention.
