I'm going to Ireland in August.
I'm bringing with me the stuff that is in the picture.
    I'm a noob and should I bring/not bring something?

I have another 32GB Ultra PLUS card (not shown) that's in the camera.

looks like your pretty well set up except for a long range lens. have been to dublin, long range would be nice for the country side though. also take pics of EVERYTHING your taking for customs reasons. i put a U.S. newspaper under it with the date showing. have fun.

Put all of the lens and camera in your day bag, add a bottle of water, snacks and jacket and then go out for a walk. A mile or two. How much weight do you want to carry?

Last trip I used a 24-105 and left the 100-400 in the room/hotel safe.

The 400mm is good for wild life.

I'll be staying in a AirBnB while in Dublin, don't think there is a safe.
I want to bring two lenses, I have a Case Logic backpack that I'll be bringing along with my MacBook Air.

I got the new iPad mini, it cut a few ounces from the iPad Pro I was lugging around.

Also do you have a plug adapter? Most modern electric devices will adapt for 110/220 50/60 Hz but the Irish/English plugs differ.

    Lens cleaner and tissues.

Ireland is EU so euros, England is Pounds. My credit cards (MC & VISA) do not charge me for currency exchange. Currency exchange at airports and banks are ripoffs they charge something like 20% plus a fee. However walking around money comes in handy.

On trips I bring 1 lens. The less crap you have to carry and fumble with, the better.

10-18 makes everything look very wide but it also weighs nothing, so there’s that.

I would bring a 24-70 (or 24-105 or 28-135mm) and that’s it. Less shit people can steal, less you have to worry about.

If you’re feeling nifty bring a 24mm. I’m all about small lenses on trips to keep weight down.

From your recommendations, what should I bring that I already have? I can get the 55-250 this week.

I have lens cleaners that I'll toss in the bag, I have 85 Euro to start, bringing $1,000. I have plug adapters for Ireland and Europe, bringing both just in case (already checked the voltages on my electronics).

Something to cover the 20-50ish range. Then one to do 55-200. That's all you need imo.

    I wouldn't bring the 10-18 personally. Maybe like a 17-40 or 16-35

I have neither. I can buy the 55-200 and bring the 18-55 kit lens that came with my camera.

Should I also bring the 50mm or leave it home?

The 50mm on an EF-S is cropped - I’d say the 55-200 will cover that.

    I’d just being the 18-55 and a 55-200 and that’s it

The 18-55 isn't STM. Will that be a problem? I won't be shooting video.

No STM is mostly for video to get smooth focusing, you won’t need it

    Thanks for the suggestions.
One more thing. I have the Canon 430EX III-RT SpeedLite.
Bring it, or leave it home?

If I'm stuck taking only one lens, I take an 18-250mm. Some photographic quality loss, but got most of the focal lengths covered.
