Just got mine replaced today under warranty. Pushing it back in did not work for me. Every time I rotated it to the drivers window it would fall out again. They Replaced the entire assembly. 263.00 total for the repair. Only 26.00 was labor on that total.

While the newer Tacoma's have a nicer looking inside, they are also built even cheaper than than prior gen.
Toyota quality gets crappier ever passing year.

    Took to dealer
They told me they fixed it
Got in car, checked it, fell right back off again
Service advisor shrugged and said they would order me a new visor under warranty

Mine did this too, while I was doing 80 down the interstate... Luckily I didn't let it slapping me in the face turn into a worse situation. Dealer ordered part and fixed under warranty. The new one definitely isn't coming out.

I also noticed, before it fell out that it made alot of noises as well.

Don’t see why they tried to “fix it”
Once it falls out the retainer and surrounding area is damaged. That’s why it fell out.
    Oh well
    Guess your not getting screwed....

I took mine apart when it fell out. There's nothing to get damaged, it's plastic on plastic that simply gets misaligned and the visor falls out. There is no separate retainer, just a slotted plastic pinch-collar that snaps into place under a plastic lip. It's an easy to fix if you actually remove the whole assembly from the truck. Hasn't fallen out in almost two years now.

Mine did the same. Pushed in back in like others have said. Haven't had any other issues since.
