SC will be easier then install more then likely but anyone who's fairly handy could do either one just fine I'm sure. The biggest Supercharger isnt a cheap item so that's why.

Even the Stage 1 SC is a teeny bit more than the TT setup... not enough to say they are priced differently, but I was just surprised that a twin turbo setup would price the same or lower than a single SC setup. Still... "Add $5k to the cost of my future travel trailer" either way. ;)

So safe to assume that the overall cost in the S/C kit includes the catted dump tube? Stage 3 is the plan, just hungry for information :boink:

Water Methanol injection is more for power than a constant injection, it would burn through so much fluid that it wouldn't be worth it.

Will the turbo kit come with blow off values? Will there be a tune for the blowoff valve to discharge into the air instead of internally (yes, I am a child and want the noise)?

S/C kit does not come with dump tubes. The turbo does because it's part of the exhaust.

My last turbo charged ride vented to atmosphere, and while it was fun at first, it ended up being quite annoying for daily driving. I ended up going to a bypass valve setup and was much happier. It still made plenty of noises even with the BPV. With that said, Im just glad we have force induction at this point.. beggars can’t be choosers lol

I thought the supercharger was supposed to be cheaper than the turbos.

What’s the plan for getting #s out on these kits?

We tried to get prices as reasonable as possible. The actual rotrex unit alone is nearly half the cost. The turbos (both) are cheaper than a rotrex C38-81 bare bones. Now let's say we went with two EFR 6258s. Then the twin turbo kit would be closer to $9k

We are working on getting all dyno testing and power specs done.

Be interesting to see the numbers, performance, and practical application that 95% of us will be using it for everyday.

Is this going increase the efficiency at all or is it more of a performance piece? Options to tune for both? Just been wondering.

Curious why you guys chose the WTA cooler versus the FMIC, with the s/c kit?

I'm reasonably happy with the SC price, and figure he just got a good package together with the turbo kit. Both are more than I'd 'like' to pay, but sub $5k for another 100HP seems tolerable.

If you think 5K is pricey then you've never checked out pricing for the other supercharger kits and such out there that are 8 to 13K

Hey 5k for something you should be able to bolt up with hand tools in your drive way, plus the same company making a tune, for a 36% increase ( assuming the 100 hp gain is accurate) and a near 29% tq increase ( assuming 80 ft lbs) shit hard to argue with this

I didn’t mean to imply the prices are bad, just remember OV saying the supercharger was going to be the cheaper option. With turbo pricing already set at 4800, I was excited for a great priced supercharger.

I’m with that other dude, 5500 is more than I’d ‘like’ to pay, but regardless of price, I’m in on the supercharger and will be getting one. I’m curious to see the power and installation complexity differences between the three kits.
