That sucks and happens more then you think. My wife’s Corolla had less then 100 miles on it and someone’s grocery cart got away from them, no note, no nothing. We fixed it ourselves

I wasn't happy at all. It was some poor old lady pulling out of her handicap spot. What're u gonna do. Damage is already done and getting angry just makes yourself feel worse. Literally no point in throwing a temper tantrum like a 6 year old. I'm sure in a year or so I'll have forgotten all about it.

To be fully truthful there is no such thing as Full Coverage insurance, it is actually called comp/liability and other than. Just for your knowledge stream. The layman’s term is full coverage, now as far do you need it, if your loan company says yes then you need it, there are some lenders that don’t even care.

The rule is 10k and above most likely comp/collision needed, below 10k up to individual points of the loan, like low credit, yup, fully insured, below 5k very rarely is any insurance needed.

This is all loan company requirements btw...

    States are usually, insure everything...

Make sure the body shop replicates the textured look. I had a front door repaired on my 16 and the forward part of the door was smooth. Not to noticable but it's just one of those things..

I work as an adjuster for the company it sounds is working your claim. From the other side of coin; the photo estimate is really for us to have a preliminary basis of damages for liability review, set up a day one inspection without having to have an estimator visit on site, and really just set up for damage payment for those who would prefer that. The estimate is sent directly to your email for your review and can absolutely be rebuttaled if you feel something was missed. Again from the other perspective I personally always push to just have the vehicle taken to the shop though, our auto damage adjuster and the shop can first hand negotiate on parts and overall estimate.

Should also mention if you opt for payment, the check is issued to you AND your lienholder which just makes for an even bigger headache.

Other than the dent, I dont see why the rest shouldn't just polish off... I say this cause I've done my fair share of using my truck itch trees on the trail more than I'm proud to admit and 10/10 times it polished right off when I got it detailed.
