You really dont want to have those as the sole source for your own vehicle. Dry chem powder is nasty stuff and corrodes everything it touches. And becomes concrete with only a small amount of moisture. Your far better carrying a B/C Halon or AFFF extinguisher.

I have it mostly for work in case equipment catches on fire. Plus we’re required to have the larger size.

Larger size is fine. IMO anything less than 5lbs is useless for anything other than rescuing someone from a burning vehicle. Just sucks to have a shit ton of damage just because the powder got a little damp and ate all the wiring in your dash when all you had was a small little relay on fire.

IMO if my truck goes on fire I'll let it burn. I wouldn't want it back after something like that anyway. That's why I have insurance.

Been driving since 76’ lots of pos’s never had anything catch on fire. Nor do I know anyone who’s vehicle has caught. I know it does happen though with all the scorched asphalt I see on the shoulder :)

Added to the family a few weeks ago. 2019 Highlander, absolutely love it. Replaced the 245/60/18 street tires with 265/60/18 Falken Wild Peak AT3W tires a few days later. It's AWD so why not right? Looks so much better this way and ride quality is better also.

I like the OEM wheels, they'll stay. At least for a while. May look for a set of OEM black SE wheels, we'll see. I do need 1 wheel either way since I want to tuck a full size spare under it.
