I’m 6’2 about 205 lbs. I am wondering how many of you guys over 6’1 regret buying your 3rd gen Tacoma’s ?

Also to sunroof or no sunroof ?

Is it true that deletion of the moon roof increases head room ?

    Thanks

I'm 6'3 and can't stand driving the models with sunroofs.

Also the toyota safety sense in 2018+ models have a camera by the mirror that really gets in my line of sight.

I had a 2016 and was never truly comfortable in it.

6’9” here and don’t find it a problem. Brand new TRD DCOR no sunroof.

6'1" with a longer than average torso, moonroof, I wish the seat would go lower. I know when I need a haircut, when my hair touches the headliner.
Rear view mirror shoved up to the highest position.

It’s not about overall height, but the length of your torso. I’m 5’11” and my head hits the headliner. I have to put my head in the moonroof opening.

I’m 6’3” 300 lbs, I fit fine but mine’s an access cab without a sunroof. I sat in one with a sunroof and couldn’t wear a hat!

Yeah if I buy the one I’m looking at with sunroof I would probably be the same keeping headliner open at all times.

6’ even and have to keep the seat tipped back a little to slouch. Have the sunroof.
Once I figured out a good seat position I haven’t noticed it being short on head room.

I'm 5-11 and am OK with the sunroof; however, sit in the back of a double cab with a sunroof...… Must keep head straight up or yoy hit the roof.

It's a PITA talking to a front passenger if you are in the back and have to lean ahead a little....

    6'2", have a 2017 TRD Pro, I wouldn't own a truck with a sunroof.
I have loads of room, could probably wear a cowboy hat (but I don't). :hattip:

At 6'1" and wearing a hat still have plenty of head room. It would help if the steering wheel would tilt higher so I could get things from my pocket without having to open the door. After stopping first, of course

6' 2", 190# 34" inseam. No issues without a sunroof. Haven't tried one with a sunroof so I don't know if I'd have an issue with one. Does it really lower the headliner that much? It seems like I've got ~4 inches to spare up there without one.
