out with the old and in with the new.

put in some new engine bay splash guards. Took some time out of my life to make and install em but it's far better than the bikini strings that Toyota had put in for stock.

now the truck has Subaru AND Chevy/GM parts inside it :bananadead:

Also the rubber mat came in, i noticed a bunch of deep cuts/ grooves made by my box sliding side to side in the same spot, it's a tough bastard to cut holes into for the extra d rings i put into the bedbolts

No super cool decals or light bar shit, but shoutout and huge thanks to @clayshutr for squaring me away with these new to me FJ Steelies  Pretty fuckin’ stoked! Now to track down a spare, and figure out what new tires to go with since these Falkens are not that impressive on the trails.

Lost my key today.......went to the Quicky Mart had my key went to the car wash had my key drove home laid the keys in the usual spot now its gone. I switch the water on to my pool while looking for the key forgot about it went in the backyard to look for the key since my puppy loves to hide things everything was under water. Had to drain water out of the pool got that all taken care off still no key. Bad part on the key search the key from my Pete is on that chain too now the shop has to cut me a key for the Pete......:headbang::headbang: BTW still no key. How much is anew Key for the Tacoma? First a big scratch in the new truck now the key missing..... I start to think somebody is telling me something here that darn truck is haunted.

installed an OEM bed divider, it's pretty solid and I always have small things I don't want falling over in the box. Had to return the 1st one though, the brackets did not go over the cross rail ends at all unless you maybe used a sledge hammer. Also the bolts to attach the knobs were different sizes and only 1 would slide into the track. 2nd go was good though. A bit fiddly to install with a bedmat, not much room under the bottom edge. Deleted the badge plastidip I did the other day and just went ahead and debadged it. Next I decided I'm going to plastidip just the chrome grill trim ring thing. Since I have the OR wheels the wife made a good point saying the inside of the grill goes with the wheels. But I gotta black out that chrome trim. Not a fan of chrome.

Oh, and not to mention I heard debadging will give me an extra 2mpg. :fingerscrossed:

    Once you go black...

SCS F5 wheels added. 16x8, 3.5 backspace, +0 offset - with the stock OR tires for now. The tires sit just outside the fender line (maybe half an inch), which is the subtlety I wanted.

    Clean, simple, sexy.

I’m a tard and a tight wad, I wanted to get a cargo net for hauling groceries and stuff. Made this instead. Bungee cord with carabiner. Route the carabiner thru your grocery sack handles - they don’t slide all over the bed. Cost - $0

My solution to that problem. Also keeps gas cans in place and other misc crap.

Pretty cool idea I just put mine on the floor in the backseat. If you want to improve your grocery hauling a little more get some milk crates and run the bungee cord thru them and just lay the groceries in the crates them plastic bags are really flimsy these days hate to see a 6 pack of beer falling out on the highway...:D:D

Btw you can find them crates for free at any grocery loading dock.;);)

Lol. I’m a buyer for a local grocery store chain. You could say I have a couple.

I don’t have much room in backseat because of car seat and booster seat
