    Crazy I had no idea you can record with a straight up potato, in 2019.

    What is the data plan cost on the fuzzy, blurry, starchy thing?

    I'm sending it to @sorgon82 first whenever we decide to do the hand off for it.

    Though the template i got from @honkonbobo only had some holes for the bottom half for what i assume is the the 2nd gen layout, so you'll need some finesse to find the other holes up top.
    I did fuck up a little but but noted it in the template that i'm going to scan, but on the 3rd gen there is an electrical cable (right of the first photo) that needs a notch cut into it to allow for it. I did the driver side first and ended up cutting the notch on both sides:bananadead:

    driver side;
    IMG_20190713_132846.jpg

    passenger side;
    IMG_20190713_132908.jpg

    the factory clips in the earlier photos i posted are only holding them (just barely) to show off everything assembled, but the actual fartsners that i used are GM Radiator fasteners from Part Source (Part# 247-411)
    (there are 2 that look very similar; one that's a little thicker and with a smooth shell, and the other is thinner but ribbed for her pleasure - the ribbed one is too thing and won't hold, you want the thicker smoother one)
    wanted to give a different clip a try just to add to the knowledge that we as a group have:hattip: i took the dive of paying $25 for 20 of these bastards

    Yeah, they built travel vans and trailers for years. It’s too bad they went bankrupt.

    Ok... Truck developed a whine sounding an awful lot like the power steering pump. I swapped it out yesterday. Fluid was purple. I'll be doing a flush today. Still have that fucking whine though. What else could it be? I've sprayed all be idler pullies with silicone lube to see if it'll help.

    I think @Manfred had a similar issue that turned out to be the alternator and possibly the idler bearings if I remember correctly.
