I am thankful the 3G Tacoma takes no styling cues from Lexus

2nd Gen GS series Lexus was good looking IMO. Both IS and GS good looking, both were available with the sweet 2jz-fe I6, governed at 145mph max and could do it.

I own a 2002 is300 (manual!!) and quite frankly its one of the best driving and looking cars made by toyota, and also very underrated. The design is very clean and lean. No bloat, simple lines, And that inline 6 is smoother than any brand new v6 lexus.
I was originally going to sell it and put the money toward my truck, but i find it very hard to let go. The taco feels a bit more replaceable to me at this time.

I think the LC500 looks the best with Lexus's spindle/hourglass grille design.

I miss my 05 Is300. Gave it to my brother when I bought my taco. Good thing it's in the family, which I can still drive whenever I feel like it. Love the handling of it!

Fugly but I find most of it all “SUV’s” to be that way. I’ll drive a car or truck first.

I just don’t understand. I hear of no one that likes these big grills but here they are. What gives?

Heinous. Just heinous. I see the “my Volvo is nicer than your Stepford Wives” driving these.

Makes US defunct automakers look reasonable. Pacer Wagon anyone?

I don’t care too much for the styling, but then again they aren’t really designed for off road use.

My fiancee likes her’s and it’s a far nicer and friendlier family vehicle than my truck is.

With the growing popularity of the "floating roof" design. I'm wondering if the 5th gen Tacoma DC will incorporate a floating roof design?

6th gen T4R will probably feature a floating roof.

I dunno... the pic I posted doesn't even look all that bad. Seeing the front end in their commercial on TV... nope... just don't like it. But I guess it's a matter of taste and it's all really just subjective.

Have you seen the 2020 Ford Explorer huge grill. Iv'e only seen the interceptor version, huge mesh grill with a much smaller opening. The grill itself dose not look bad, the small opening makes grill look weird.
