I bought this last week directly from ProEagle for a little over $600 after tax. I simply changed my mind, only use it has is being set on the garage floor and being moved 5 feet.

Can you remind me where it’s intended to be mounted?

You can check @squint0241 build thread. He mounted in his bed, I believe.

It's more or so a "universal" mount. I do like how @squint0241 mounted it and probably will do the same thing. I've been looking into ways to somehow mount it without drilling into/through the bed though. lol.

If you go to the ProEagle website, they have other options to mount it (racks, cages, etc.). As for securing it from being stolen, I’m sure you could figure out a way to lock it down. But, if the thieves want it badly enough, they’ll figure out a way to get it. Best is to keep out of site to stay out of mind. So a cover or shell is recommended.

You could mount through the bed and use wing nuts with lock washers if you were concerned about quick removal

Concur...you gotta hide that shit or it'll be gone in 60sec..:D You can lock the jack in the bracket though. Just delays the theft by another 60sec...lol Bed cover out of site, out of mind...

You should keep these. My TC LCA’s are stout enough to where you can mount the jack. You can also get my TC UCA’s if you want to mount it vertically. Don’t worry about your tires rubbing it though, I’ve got wheel spacers to allow clearance. And speaking of clearance, I’ve got fender and flare trims to cover up the sharp edges. I look forward to my shrimp.
