REMOTE START with Two-Way and/or Smartphone Capability - LOWEST COST Option?

    What is the cheapest Two-way remote start option for a 2019 TRD Sport 4x4 Automatic with Push to Start and keyless entry?'

    Just purchased my taco last week and I love everything about it! ...except for not having a remote starter. I began researching options and to be honest I need help from you guys figuring this out/

    I'd prefer a plug and play to avoid installation costs, but the short range of the factory fob and lack of 2-way feedback is a dealbreaker. Do they make a Smartphone module that could be added to a plug and play in order to increase the range and add 2-way? If so, is it something I could easily install myself? I could purchase a viper remote start and viper SmartStart, but it appears I'd have to pay for professional installation and the total cost would be way out of my budget. I also hate the idea of paying a monthly service just to start my truck.

    If the above isn't possible, what about a stand alone Smartphone module that is easy to install? To be honest I would be fine with my smartphone being my only remote start option. I don't need GPS tracking or anything fancy, just the option to start my truck at a reasonable distance with feedback so I know it worked. I'm open to all suggestions.


    PS: Sorry if this has been asked a thousand times already, I'm new here!

    Yeah I saw that one! But $250 for that plus the smartphone module, and youre looking at $450. Hoping to find a cheaper solution :)

    Shopify actually...which is one of the good ones for eCommerce...but only if you understand how to make nice layouts that are visually appealing and easy on the eyes, yup way too much going on there...and it's not even raw HTML...they even give you templates for Godsakes...:rolleyes:...not all tech companies are all around tech...
