Yep. I'm assuming you're MT since you are here. All around it is a serious improvement over the stock tune. I feel like it was well worth the $$ and it is far superior to how the truck was delivered from the factory. Throttle response is better, engine runs smoother (sounds happier and not like it's going to blow up $> 4k), power delivery is more consistent and better, some slight power gains on 87, and fuel mileage hasn't changed or is slightly improved.

If you want to run the 91 or 93 tunes there is definitely more power available, and with the 2.0 version coming you won't have to worry about flashing different versions for different octanes. Torque tables (still an issue) are going to be revised in 2.0 as well as the AICS system, so that will only make things better.

I realize you are probably on the fence but I am sure you won't be disappointed.

I don't even understand how you can heel-toe the way the pedals are, unless you have gigantic feet lol Sounds like someone thought he got a sport car because it had a clutch.

The correct way of downshifting is doing it before the turn in so your drive train is settled and you can lay the power down through the turn much smoother and with more control.

Unless you're on a slippery road, then you don't downshift at all... Don't ask me how I know.

Well I roll around in 6th at 40 so i definitely need to downshift before making a turn or id stall it and never make it out of the turn. Isnt it safer to engine brake when its slippery?

In my state, the octanes available are 87, 89 and 92. Does it make more sense to go with the 91 or 93 tune?

You wouldn't be in 6th at 40 on a snow packed road but in the event you would, yes it would be safer to engine brake and then downshift, probably in 4th, maybe 3rd depending on conditions but not any lower unless you want your tires to lose grip.

I've got 4wd and experience driving in icy conditions. A little slip isnt scary or difficult to correct.

Where do you live? 4wd is only useful in giving you confidence to drive faster when you shouldn't. As we say around here, 4wd makes you slide further, because you are driving too fast lol

Ordered the tune. Should I go 87 standard or FOB?

That is up to you! Try two or three tanks on each to see for yourself.

I tried them all and am happiest on 87 FOB. But, that is just me.

    So. Many. Stickers.
Bigges problem I see is people using their brakes to turn in snow.... Gotta use the gas ever so lightly and let the 4wd do its job.

Is there a noticeable difference between standard and fob?

I like 87 base better, the FOB seem to loose power in the mid range. Noticeable going up mountains

Running 87 base here; the FOB 87 and 91 both stumble at low RPM / high load.

I'll probably try 87 base and see how it goes. Hoping its noticeably better than stock.

I will be putting my MT TRD OR on market in a few months. I'd like to keep it but life happens. I babied the shit out of it.
