Absolutely! Ironworker for 8 years and home gamer for quite a bit longer. Even sold aluminum skydiving equipment for a few years under my own business. You're right, 2mm isn't a lot. I've never disagreed with that. You fan boys are tenacious and unwilling to listen to the tiniest bit of criticism. Humans are weird as hell.

I'm a bit on the spectrum, so if I pick something up, I go deep. That's what Tig welding became to me.

Got mine installed today. Very happy with the fit. Nice job @SouthernStyleOffRoad

Still a little cleaning up to do but I ran out of time. I will say that I found it much easier to remove the Slimline and bolt on the wings while it was on a bench. I tightened them down and made sure they were lined up. Then I cut the bumper and had a couple of buddies help me line it up.

    Very nice!
How hard was it to get the grille back in behind the bar?
It looked like it would be quote a hassle so I opted to not get it, solely for convenience sake.

It's only a pain because I have the Rigid light bar there. I had to trim about an inch off the bottom "flap" that goes the whole length of the bottom. After I did that it snaps in and out with some concentration.

I loved the look of the slimline original bumper. But not a fan of the stage 2 look . Ran the Original slimline for over 2 years but got the itch to have bigger tires and more clearance. So went with the Demello Baja hoop with 30" LED cutout.
    Slimline before.

So you installed it all as one piece? That seems like the easier way to do rather than trying to line up each side with it on the truck. That’s what I am hoping to do. Good to see that worked. Install looks great. I take it that all the measurements from SSO worked out?

Yes I bolted it all together and tightened it down making sure the front face was even on all sides. Once it looked good on the bench I cut the bumper and we all raised it up into place as one piece. I'm not sure how you would be able to put the wings on the Slimline while it's on the truck. That seemed a lot harder than getting everything lined up off the truck.

And the measurements work out as long as you don't screw up the fender flares like I did. Not sure how I made a straight cut across them instead of the angled cut like SSO says. I probably wasn't paying attention when I got there. But it's not obvious unless you look close.

Awesome, good to know! I was hoping to do mine this weekend but with my lady being gone the next two weekends, I was asked to do other things.

No flooding, just some trees down on the property. We're very thankful.
