I found one at a pawn shop with beat up furniture several years ago and for a stellar deal. Only having a 4 round tube was a turnoff. So I contacted a few smiths and adding a longer tube for an 1895 45-70 would run me about $200 and add two rounds. By the time I got back a week later it was long gone.

    Just sharing the info.

Back at the range. My wife with my sig p516E9B8BB6C-25DF-4604-A089-864C5E953C6A.jpgthere’s also a mpx and ksg below the fireball. I’m gonna get a print of this shot framed and send it to her grandpa. He’ll get a kick out of that. Hang it in his gun room. When we visit them, I sit on the couch and he starts pulling guns out of the safes and hands them to me while he tells me all about them. And other than asking the appropriate question here and there, I mainly just shut up and listen. Cool old dude for sure...

This is my favorite gun to shoot right now. CZ SP-10 with Cajun Gun works defensive package and SAO conversion. I caught the CZ bug once I bought a P10C. Now I have the SP-01, CZ 75 Compact Steel frame and a P10S.

That .45-70 is on my list too! Such a beast!

My 3 XD's. 5 inch, 4 inch, and 3 inch subcompact. The 5 and 3 inch are Mod 2's. 5 inch is my IDPA match gun. 4 inch doubles as an IDPA match gun and home defense gun. Subcompact in 40 S&W is my carry gun. Love all 3 of them. All 3 are outfitted with Powder River Ultimate triggers with about a 4 lbs. Trigger pull.

This Mossberg 12g started out as a pistol grip 500 breacher. It was the first gun I ever bought years ago. Instead of buying a new one, I just revamped this old one...11453FEE-6A3F-4300-BA1D-8F116C8307B3.jpg C3A92AE1-3868-4C9C-8607-425DBF5667C8.jpg 19BD84AC-8838-4878-8746-06DFC7B7DF46.jpgWith the action open, extra shells are oriented closer to the ejection port for ease of loading61AB89A9-662A-4A59-AEAE-2F650993335E.jpg

About 1 year ago I had bought a Colt Cobra. Was in the LGS
last week and 1 of the guys asked if I had a King Cobra. Told him
I didn't but if they gave me all my money back that I paid for the
Cobra I would by it. They did so now I have the King Cobra.
Would rather have the .357 anyway.

    KingCobra.jpg

Question for you guys. A few months ago the LGS got a Benelli M4 traded in and
I looked at it. From what I seen of it the thing was basically never used. As You
know these sell for usually 1799. Fast forward to Saturday no one wants to step
    up and buy this thing.
Would imagine the majority have no idea what it is other than
an expensive shotgun. Anyway, it is now marked down to 1299 from the initial
1499 it started out at. Question is if you had the extra cash would you buy it?
I currently already have one but this thing is getting pretty cheap now. They have
1185 into it. It is tempting.

Cobra was 699, King Cobra was 899. There are a couple places online
that have them a little lower but by the time you figure in
shipping at some places is about the same price.
