Look for it in the refrigerator. They sometimes hide in there when you grab another cold beer.

 

Installed some KC cyclones on my shell, ended up using some round Velcro pads and mounting them to the glass. I tested them out, and I think it is going to hold up just fine. Will be good for those early fishing trips, rigging on the tailgating. Can use them with the door closed as well to light up the inside!

Comes with aftermarket and with one on the HU. Aftermarket is the normal clip mount and I didn’t use it. So far using the one on the HU which is located top left and it’s been solid for calls and siri commands.

 

Added Lund Flares to my truck to get full tire coverage. These Lund Falres are huge! Sort of reminds me of the old school BushWackers. I also made some mud flaps for the rear. Used some Kydex for the flaps.

 

On previous Tacoma’s, leer wired my cap lock into the truck’s locks. I have no idea how they did it.

But I tapped off the back driver side tail light and it worked absolutely fine. The brake lights on the cap are LED so there isn’t much current draw.

Can you tell me more about this. My spare just got jacked and I replaced it with a full size I really don't want to lose again. Is this just a plate that goes over the access hole?

 

What did you use for this or was it a precut kit?

 

Which one is this? I’ve seen pictures of them with the front hitch, but can’t find one to buy. I like the ability to attach the winch front or rear. Tia

Where did you source the Kydex?

 

It’s basically an insert and shield that turns the crank nut into a keyed mechanism, almost exactly like a locking lug nut. The silver key slides over your existing spare tire tool.

 

What's your wheel, tire and suspension setup? Looks great

Southern Style Offroad. I made a custom order for the hitch. It's recessed and I use the access holes to place the pin.

 

Good idea, but unless one works with a lot of thin, soft materials (like in gasket-making), I would think an inexpensive hole saw would work as well and be more generally useful.

 

After a scary experience on a Colorado mountain trail I bought one of these bad boys. It's going with me on every hike with me and my dog from now on and when I'm not using it, it'll be safely tucked away in the bed of my truck. I would highly recommend anyone with an adventure companion to pick one up!
