    Evening all:
    Yup Ken, AGAIN! :(

Was out trimming the other day down by the pond, just finished up and got rained on! Today was cutting branches on the access road to the garage, just finished up and it started pouring as I was putting the tractor in the shed, this is getting old!

We got a really big dose from that storm. Just down the hill from where we are they got something like 6" of rain in less than 2 hours. Flash flooding everywhere. A young woman and her son were swept away in their car and drowned. Roads are still closed everywhere due to trees and wires down. Some bridges and waterways are washed out so badly that they won't reopen for months and months.

Just got back from 28 day road trip.
    NC to:
    Indiana
    South Dakota
    Montana
    Idaho
    Wyoming
    Utah
    Colorado
    Nevada
    New Mexico
(States in between, not stopped at)

We live in a beautiful country.
Most impressed new area ... Scenic roads south of Coeur D'alene, Idaho.
Most surprised: Silverton, Colorado has a serious water issue.
There are so many areas that are really depressed. Closed shops, and the looks of towns with no hope.

    More later.

    Morning all:

Unfortunate that people lost their lives.
That storm missed our area for the most part and stayed South of us, pretty well where they predicted the worst of it. I didn't realize it did that much damage, didn't see much on the news or in the paper about it.

So young and innocent to be lost. People think the weight of a car won't let them be washed away. Prayers for all of the family.

Good morning Cool Young Dude (some day you will be sitting on the porch with us all enjoying an ice cold beverage reminiscing about the good old dayso_O )

    Cheech and Chong are classic:thumbsup:.

Welcome Home Ken. Glad you had a good time.
