    Whole lotta stuff
I’m on 4.56 with 285s and I love it. I had 4.88s and traded those in. If you look at the tire size calculator, 4.56 puts you into factory ratios with a 33.

Super excited to get wrenching on your suspension. Glad Eric @ARCHIVE was so helpful. Did he convince you to get hammer hangers also:boink:

    All finished!!!!
The ride is sooo much better, especially in the rear!! May or may not have hit some rail road trax at 55 and it swallowed them up like nothing!!

Limit strap tabs added, just waiting on strap. All I have left to do is add a cross bar for support.

It was only open for a sec bc we had just bolted the towers through the bed and we had to take it off. I was still nervous had we just removed the support in the rear we had for days

This is a good point, you risk bending the frame without frame brackets @Bray1197

These are what I’ll be running, but threaded so I can adjust where I want them to hit

Do you know how long it will take? I saw somewhere where someone removed the factory bump plate for some reason and didn't put anything back in it's place, and the frame started cracking, or something along those lines. I wish I could find it so it's not just hearsay, but I definitely remember learning that day that the strike plate is part of where the frame gets it's strength back there.

What I'm getting at is I wouldn't want to do any hard driving without a strike pad.

Where you put your cross brace with the welded plate on the inside of the frame you should be good.

When installing archive relocation bracket is the factory mount cut off? If yes what's a good method? Grinder or port-a-band?

Yes it is. Porta band wouldn’t be a terrible idea but I think it’d be too tight of quarters. I’ve used an angle grinder and a sawzall with good results.

Yes. We used a combination of grinder with cutoff discs and a plasma cutter. You won't be able to get a portaband in there to cut the factory mounts off with the bed on. You need the bed on to locate the towers. The pass. side has to be removed before the AG relocation can be put in place or was it the DS I forgot which one but one was in the way.

I've got a sawzall and use a grinder daily at work so I figure I have the skill. Is the factory mount on the axel used?

No that gets hacked off too. The one on the pass side is in the way for the new one as well (or whichever is to the front of the truck). I forgot already even though it's only been a few months since I did my relocate.
