    Like, so many.
Better add safety and style into that equation.

I came from a 2014 CR-V EX to my 2017 Tacoma Sport DCSB MT and love it. I absolutely hated my CR-V and do not fit my lifestyle, did not find it comfortable, had a few small warranty issues, and was NOT utilitarian at all. Overall, I love this truck and enjoy driving it daily (41,xxx mi and counting).

Good points, personally I don't like the exterior styling of the 3rd Gen as much, but I like the interior much better than the 2nd Gen. The NHTSA Overall Safety Rating is 4 Star on the 2015 and 2019 models.

For anyone driving a Rav 4 the option is easy. You get a taco, simple as that.

I used to drive M/T's and just recently switched over to auto. I think I'll go test drive a manual tonight. BTW...I was on buyatoyota.com and saw a brand new leftover 17 in Inferno, but not sure what kind of deal you could get being that old and even if any incentives are left.

I agree the clutch and manual gearbox are very good--I think Toyota got it right on this one. And I've driven mostly manuals over 40 years.

If you can get a still new, never registered 2017, you should be able to get a really good deal on it. You also won't have the safety stuff to deal with if you wanted to change grills, lift without worries, etc. Plus Inferno is a damn good color.

I like the color as well and as for the safety features I know how to check my mirrors, use my brakes and check my blindspots! LOL. I may check with my dealer to see if the truck really exists or is a typo.

My truck came with the manual blind spot monitor: a properly adjusted driver's side rear view mirror.

My rental while my 2GEN gets fixed is a 2018 RAV4. Freaking awesome rig! I drive all over the place up here Northern VT. I'd buy one in a heartbeat.
As for a Tacoma test drive test drive test (the 3 rules) all models trims & configs as others suggested. I've been happy with both my 2GENs 2006 & 2013 auto TRD ORs 4WD. No returns or issues requiring dealer visits for my 2013 w/ 100k. An accident got me the RAV rental.
3GEN looks sharp imo just not sure I want to spend that much next time. Good luck let us know what you did?

I've been following the Rav-4 complaints a bit, thinking of nabbing one in a couple years..

Yeah, I'd drive the manual but if still interested in Auto, try driving with the ECT button pushed. Just tried this yesterday & shifted way better red light to red light and seemed to get the same MPG..

I agree the 18 Ravs are way better than the 19's. That's my big problem.
