Ahhh shit, that would melt you... I refuse to use a collar and leash because I'm weird and this old boy is the most obedient and mellow and acts and listens better than any children I've ever met. I know plenty of kids that should be on leash and collar but this old boy has earned not using it for the rest of his days. He doesn't ever run off and just stays within 5-6 ft of me. Doesn't help he's going blind and deaf, I'm sure that keeps him close too  but he really has been the most naturally obedient and best demeanor I've seen in an animal

Mine is the same way, always at my feet or trying to climb into my lap. I get anxious when she's not close since she's practically my shadow and it usually means something is wrong if she isn't

19 is amazing! Have you had him since he was a puppy?!

Cool isn’t it? I pulled it from that Ambulance when I was in Vegas. I replaced the drive belts that spin the rotators and added more halogen rotators plus a siren in the center cage.

This center cage was entirely empty before, it was wired for a siren but didn’t come with one.

Its pretty cool, especially since you have very little money in it.

Id buy one, turn it on once then probably never use it again.

I paid $20 for the lightbar, $22 for the two drivebelts, and $30 for the four additional halogen rotators. The siren I had already. Only about $72 deep.

It’s an awesome conversational piece, people see it when they’re walking by my house when it’s on and come up to talk about it.

It’s worth about $400-$500. My model is especially desirable (Code 3 XL 9000) because it’s the identical one used on the ECTO 1 except with blue lenses.

I’ve been wanting a blue lens to make it police spec blue and red, but all the replica makers buy them up. The only set of blue lenses I can find on eBay are $500.

It’s so weird what it was. It was owned by an injury law firm (an ambulance chaser) and they used it as a mobile billboard driving it up and down the Las Vegas Strip.

Obviously hasn’t been used as an ambulance since the 90’s, I walked into the back of it and it was a time capsule. Brown, Beige, and Woodgrain. All the glass cabinets and instruments were still intact. Some medical supplies that expired in the early 2000’s were still there too.

Since he was 2, my folks had him from puppy. Yeah he's totally my shadow when I'm home. Or when I have him out with me anywhere.
