Redlantern’s Procharged 2019 AOI-TRDPro - VDB

I no longer have my turbo 06 tacoma. Sold all it’s parts awhile back and used it as a trade in. I still have my BW s366 though under my desk which may be used for future use. We’ll see.

I picked up the new truck after waiting 6 months for it. 2019 Toyota Tacoma TRD Pro In voodoo blue. Color looks insane in person. All i have to do is strip all the dealer’s tire dressing(sling everywhere) and whatever wash they used and get it prepped for ceramic coating. It still hasn’t hit me that I have this thing but i think it’ll set in soon.

Did my first mod soon as I brought it home. Popped off the plastic housing around the LED fog lights and installed Rigid amber covers on them. They fit like a glove! Funny how I had them before I had the truck lol.

 

Love the yellow fogs I did the same, bought mods without even having the truck yet

 

I’m jealous man. That’s just about the only way I’d order a 3rd gen. I love it and the color. Can’t wait to see what you have in store.

 

So far nothing extreme. It’s been awhile since I’ve been able to enjoy a vehicle on stock form but we’ll see how long that lasts. I’ll probably start with the small stuff for now.

Finally had some time on the 4th so as a part time detailer, I finally ceramic coated the Truck. Surprisingly not much minor scratches from factory so it made prep that much easier. Paint coating, glass coating and wheel coating, done son....

 

My plates finally transferred over and picked it up yesterday . Looks like it’s official. So decided to celebrate voodoo blue with Johnnie walker Blue label.

 

Did the AC drain mod where it extends the hose and won’t drip on the frame. Not sure how big of a difference this will make but it gives me peace of mind.

 

going to try the ovtune turbo's?

 

It’s been the Plan when I was waiting for this truck to come in lol. We’ll see if it bares fruit. I did a WOT pull on h2 headed to north shore today. This made me realize the 1gr has more power and that I’m need boost again. So all signs are pointing to yes but need to see if my wallet will allow it.

 

You getting either of their kits?

 

waiting to see what the kit looks like. i have a bunch of extra junk under the hood with the 2nd battery and all the extra wiring and relays. not going to assume it'll all fit. i like the idea of turbo but not too confident I'll have the room for all that piping. thinking the blower has a better chance of fitting but depends where they mount the intercooler reservoir

 

Planning the same. Do you know if ID of the current drain hose? 2015 DCSB.

 

Sorry I do not. I would assume the same but best to measure. I would check for you but don’t have my 2nd gen any more.

 

congrats. also a pro owner here. i bought laminX for my Rigid fogs but decided not to go with that. do you have info such as a part number for those covers you used on the fogs?

 

It’s the SR-series from RI. I picked mine up from Amazon when it was in stock.

Yes 2x3. The plastic around the fog light will have to come off. I recommend cleaning the led dog light before placing the cover on.
