I was born in Duluth MN. Dad was USAF, then got transferred to Tyndall AFB in Panama City FL when I was two years old.

What a blast that was for me once I turned three and could get around with my older brother and sister. Our base housing, there was nothing between our back door and the Gulf of Mexico except sand and swamp.

Dad and a friend had got a rowboat and carried it into the swamp, us three kids as soon as breakfast was done we'd run off into the swamp and have fun. Mosquitos? Water Mocs? Pfft, we didn't give a damn about that.

It was a sad day when my brother and sister had to go to kindergarten. Even sadder when I had to go to kindergarten. From complete freedom to singing stupid songs like Bingo is my nameo.

A contract guy I used to work with his company was called FBT. Naturally we ask what does FBT stand for. Fat Bastard Telecom. Great guy, contract worker which the union people hated, but he hosted some nice potlucks on swing shift.

On a stringer so they live and if you catch the 8lb one you can let the little ones go. I prefer to keep them fresh as long as possible. Putting them in a bucket with no ice, they just die and begin the decaying process. I usually have long car rides home though.
