Aww man, there are some offcamber clay slopes that lead straight into the bayou if wet last time I was out there......which was before Harvey. Funny thing, meeting a riding buddy out there tomorrow morning. Linked a YouTube GoPro video above of warda

Mine came with sram level T hydros.....only thing I don’t like about them is no mineral oil and supposed to do fluid flush every yr or 2.....which is getting overdue.

Not one of my favorite places to ride when wet.....total trials session. Also close to warda is rocky hill ranch in Smithville area. Little more elevation change but same type terrain. Some easier sandier stuff around lake Somerville...state park on both sides of lake connected by 13 mile trail.

    Yeah.
Apparently some of the Levels can have the same issue as the Guides, but if you haven't had an issue by now you are probably fine. You can always find the XT's on sale, and they just work.

Had a great ride on the Stache yesterday at the Back 40, a few PR's, Stache is rolling and stopping good now. Finally upgraded my GoPro and took some video, but I had Hypersmooth on and their software apparently needs some more work. Lots of blips in the video with crazy artifacts making it difficult to watch. Only happens for a second, but suprised you like something jumping out on the trail in front of you. I was running 1080/60fps, so maybe I need to drop to 30fps to give the processor more time. None of the reviews I saw mentioned this, so hopefully it's not a dud. Great upgrade from my original ancient Hero, though.

I'm fine with the Level T's. Have had zero issues with them and kinda want to keep that bike all SRAM.......I has projects for it besides brake fluid flush......wheels mfg angular contact bb, WTB Rangers are soon which also means new rim strips and juice & last but surely not least, a box of Manitou upgrade parts for the front fork.

I don't like the idea of being clipped in and getting the bike layed flat or doing a can can/nac nac. Seems like it's harder to bail too.

Playing with Trek lettering since they don't offer replacement stickers. Started with the Deity copper bar and the color matching just took off!

Once I get my letters set up, Id gladly make you a set in whatever color.

Im surprised there arent replacements too, but Trek themselves told me no.
