    Howdy, so due to alignment issues, my two front KBro2's gotta leave, considering I have 10/32 tread left on the rear tires, I've decided to start tire shopping instead. I plan on keeping the rear 2 KO2's at home for "oh shit" purposes. I am looking for very aggressive (tread wise) tires either in A/T or M/T since I don't care about noise and I really do care about longevity.

    I do mainly daily driving and maybe see dirt at least once a month, it will usually be sand over at Pismo (RIP), Gorman OHV/Rowher OHV, mall parking lots, mud, and/or snow. I live in Glendale, CA (LA County) and I'm looking for any recommended shops and/or tires in the area within 30 miles. I've done a lot of internet reading and I am getting mixed reviews on a slew of tires, I figured I would ask all yall internet gurus for your opinion. With that being said, I do not want to go down the BFG route again, open to all other suggestions.

    What tires do you run? What kind of driving conditions do you put them through? What is the longevity of the tires you are running? Open to suggestions, might just get a Ridgeline and call it a day too (just kidding).

    Thank you!

    I run Hankook MT. Daily driver.....I love them. This is my second set, I also had them on my jeep, 40,000 miles and looked like new. I rotate every 6000 miles. I have around 15,000 on them so far.

    Love my Nitto Ridge Grapplers. I had 265/75/16, just upgraded my wheels and tires to 285/75/17. I had 11k on my old tires and are wearing great. They’re quiet and provide great grip off road. 45E45FB9-857B-4DC6-BF68-CCF8F49112E9.jpg

    your humble suggestion was humbly accepted, except the threads there are just general wheel/tire info/problems etc., I haven't found an exact thread with my needs so far and hence the reason for this one. :/

    Also, since I have you here, whats stopping me from running M998 rims on my tacoma? I dont see any other problem with it except that it's 8 lug as opposed to our trucks 6 lug (?). Anyone tried yet? Also, TYFYS

    @GreyBaldTaco , Thoughts?

    I’d go with some Toyo AT II. I’ve had mine for 8k miles and they perform just as well as KO2 IMO (a buddy has KO2 on same setup). They will handle what you need.

    Edit*

    They where also $30 cheaper per tire compared to the KO2 at off-road warehouse

    ST Maxx?
    if i understand, you want All Terrain or Mud tires and you want better life than the ko2's? and you're mostly on road, is this right?

    Duratracs are a/t and have very aggressive tread. I've had them about two years and they don't appear visibly worn at all.

    Duractrac's do seem to be the consensus... Also, TYFYS

    The new Courser CXT tires are a at/mt hybrid and should wear like iron as they're designed for commercial use. They're pretty comfortable riding too.

    Those are 255/80r17s next to the 265/75r16 ko2s I had on the truck. They have a good selection of sizes but I'm really happy with my choice.

    General X3's, C-Range is available for a smoother ride/weight.
    I should be able to get 65-70k miles out of them and will definitely purchase again.
