    Oh, snap!

Glad you were able to get replacements.

For those that aren't aware, we always recommend loosening the UCA thru bolt before greasing the bushings. Failure to do so will result in bushing deformation and in extreme cases having the bushing look like the above. Here is a little video we put together on this:

There is a giant pile of concrete gravel at the mall. Could be fun!
Basically we took the Sears building and stuck it in a mill.

Nope, slam it on 18s and 40 series and tint the windows with a light touch of vip style. Mild exhaust mod to bring out that v8 sound. They made these luxury sedans quiet. There's only 2 cats, but 5 mufflers on the damn thing. Factory manifolds are pretty much headers already. I've ordered the starter, water pump and timing belt. The car is literally built around the motor and any engine work requires removing almost half of the components just to get at what you're trying to work on.

There's a few odds and ends that need fixing, but everything works almost like it did the day it rolled off the lot. The factory air ride suspension is needing attention as any 28yr old air setup would, so I'll most likely be swapping that expensive dealer only replacement parts out for adjustable coilovers. Although with the air ride set on the highest setting I could probably fit 30x9.5 ATs or 28" MTs.

Given the price it would be accepted for a gambler 500 contender, but my love of everything Toyota says no f'n way. The LS400 is the Lexus birth child when Toyota decided it wanted a piece of the luxury full size sedan market. It's the very first production vehicle under the Lexus badge. It's a fixture of Toyotas legacy and I'd like to keep it as long as I can. Since it was free, I don't mind throwing $1-$2k at it.

Something like this maybe. I don't want it to be too flashy. I hate the cambered stance look and the over the top JDM/Yakuza look some guys go with.

    Yaaas
but more ground clearance for rally runs !
Gonna have to clip ur pinky finger with side cutters tho ......

Used to work on Yamaha F1 outboards and had to take about 1/2 the engine apart to do anything like plug changes etc.
    but
Got to do test runs with 4 g corners.
Had to strap in so couldn’t breath and HANS had straps to helmet so ur head wouldn’t bounce off the canopy.

    Thinking drifter for ur 400

Drifter/cruiser, with cruiser being priority. Theres options out there for a rear diff swap for LSD from a MKIII & MKIV supra, but they're geared at 4.10, where the 400 has 3.61. I'd be looking to pick up a spare stock diff and weld it. Seeing how it's a 4000lb car, and only putting 250hp to the crank, it would take throwing a turbo or supercharger on it(read as throw $5k at it) to actually break the tires loose on demand. These early 1UZFE motors are known to be overbuilt from the factory with forged internals, and can handle 450-500hp without touching the insides vs the later 1uzfe with vvti will handle right around 400 or just shy of. There's also a manual trans swap available with a R154 from a supra, and another style sourced fromithing other Toyota or a close JDM relative on that side of the world to really make it drift on command. It's no powerhouse in this chassis, but scoots good enough for me.

My overall goal is to drive the 400 while I catch up on mods for the Tacoma like trans swap and fj tcase install along with rebuilding and installing the lift again. But who am I kidding, I'm sure I'll have two rigs in pieces and wondering how I'm going to get to work the next day.
