I was in NH three weeks ago and all the rain made the trails really fun. I put some serious gouges in my BudBuilt skids though.

I've also got a friends bachelor party Saturday afternoon and a pet returning from vet ICU so I at home for the most part.

What does the last weekend of july look like for you? central/northern VT would be my vote!

    Sounds like fun.

Unfortunately I've got a company lobster bake on the last Sat this month, so that kinda kills that weekend for me.

Its looking like @Ferball and myself and anyone else interested will be headed up to the Victory State Forest area of VT this weekend. Hoping to find some logging roads to explore and maybe follow the power line road North for a ways.. See what we see and try to find a camping spot for the night

Meetup tomorrow Sat the 13th, around 15:00
(I will probably be in the area earlier..)

    Where:
Meetup at: 2165 Portland St, St Johnsbury, VT 05819

    What:
General exploring local dirt roads, see some of the local sights, find a place to camp for the night. Sunday will be more of the same. Hopefully lots of dirt roads and running some of the big powerline roads up there

Should be an easy trip with great weather if anyone can make it last minute!

Will be interesting to see what you come up with for a fuel cell down there! Make sure you slap a skid over it that you could bolt across the frame rails.

Would anyone be interested in a group trip to National Seashore Cape Cod?

I would plan for a weekend trip to camp in truro and spend a day on the national seashore highway.

I went two years ago on the last weekend of September and it was perfect. Nice weather, zero crowds, etc.

We got a fire permit, built a bonfire on the beach, saw whales from the shore, explored the light house, etc. This can be done with a stock 4x4 (preferably with low range)

there is almost 100 miles of coastal beach corridor to drive on. It is a $50 7 day vehicle pass and 30 min inspection and "training" video.

Keep in mind there is no camping on the beach. we would have to camp at Adventure bound or some other camp site in Truro.

If there is interest, I will make a separate thread with a pole to vote on weekend dates in September.

    Currently the corridor is closed
