Haha your house sounds like mine. Once my girlfriend moves in I’ll develop even more of a list.

Right! Been here 3 years, already changed all plumbing fixtures, all outlets and electric switches, all light fixtures inside and out, new flooring in all but one room. Remodeled the guest bathroom. Built a new closet in the office because we combined the office and master closets so the master has a walk-in. Painted the inside of the house. Redid all floor trim. Painted and patched the garage. Replaced all doors with solid wood. Put in a water softener. Redid all the vapor barrier in the crawl space. Turned a horse barn into a hobby wood shop. That’s just off the top of my head.

Haha wow that’s a lot! I’m not as productive or handy myself. I just finished up with some contractors who remodeled my master bath and my kitchen space, opened up the whole main level to an open concept. Got a lot that I have left to do but the lady and I have agreed it’s best to wait till we are dual income to be able to knock the stuff out.

I did the first door but they are heavy as shit so hired that out. Otherwise it’s been all me. Helps that I don’t work.

The dual pay is def a good idea. We have a set project budget that we try to stick too each summer.

There’s a reason I don’t have the big lift and expensive mods on the truck lol.

I did most of my truck stuff living at my dads house when my income was “disposable”. Now all the money goes to the house and bills. Adulting blows haha.

Got to use the impact yesterday. Rally-roo got a fist sized sidewall gash on a trailside rock. Kid broke em loose and I ran em off. Made the job SO easy.

lol doesn’t it though. Not sure if I remember what it’s like to not adult anymore though. We also don’t have kids so that opens up the wallet a lot.

Yeah, thats me. Hill people gear kit bag is a hell of a platform for radios and stuff. As you can see by the dune flag, wind was averaging 60ish on the ridge with all sorts of sand mixed in.

Impact worked really well. Kept it on setting 1 to not blow out the studs and we carried on right quick to get out of that stupid wind.

I keep meaning to try mine on the wheels. Used it for my steps and tons of leg bolts in heavy wood. I’m sure it would work just fine as opposed to the actual automotive impact.

As far as dirt and dust goes, I avoid it at all costs anymore! Seen and eaten far too much of it!!

I would kill for AL housing costs. I’m sure CA would kill for ours!

Haha what’s Montana like? I bought my house at 63$/sq ft because it’s a full remodel, should sell it about 110$+ a sq ft.

Thank you! Yes I really like them, I almost bought a snap on but I
    couldn’t justify $4000

Mine was about $211/sq ft. Sister in law lives outside Atlanta and paid about $190k for a house about twice my size. We both have an acre of land though. Here you’ll average $260k for a relatively dated house or new town home. Our avg is in the 400s for new w/out much land. It’s comparable to some areas of WA or NJ. We still have a lot of overflow from when the Balkins blew up. People relocated here so we have more people then available houses.

Never been a fan of snap on or Mac, at least not at the price difference vs quality. If it was 2-3 x’s better then other high quality brands, then maybe.
