Not sure specifically for the MX4 but several companies make solid bed bars or racks which will work for you. RCI, CBI, SOS, relentless, Mobtown etc all are quality just depends on your preference.

Truck saw some action this weekend. Found a decent dispersed campsite and a gem of a fishing spot.

Is anybody using reinforced Camo Netting with their RTT setups?

I have an ARB awning along the passenger side that I would like to sort of make into a 270/360 setup connecting it to another rear facing awning and then to a 2783 tent.

Are there any current deals going on with RTTs? I’m in the market and not exactly sure which one I want to go with. If there’s a sale, that would definitely sway my decision making. Thanks

howdy guys, I just bought an RTT today. I ordered a Smittybilt Overlander 2-3 person from 4wd.com. I look forward to seeing all the tips and accessories and everything in this thread. Hopefully Ill have the tent by the end of the month.

I have virtually the same tent but the Tuff Stuff branded one (probably made by the same factory overseas). Just a heads up, even though they say 2 - 3 person, it is not a 3 person tent, unless all 3 people are little kids...maybe.

My wife and I are average height, athletic build and we sleep shoulder to shoulder in it with maybe a few inches to spare on either side. Sleeps two just fine but I wouldn't want to cram a 3rd person in there lol.

Yeah I actually grabbed the measurements and folded a blanket on the floor to the exact size as the tent. Gave me a good visual on how big it really is

As long as it's just you and/or one other person it's a great tent, much smaller than the larger ones designed for 3+ people and far lighter as a result.

Yeah it’s just me and the girlfriend. I believe it will work for me very well. Got a great deal on it too. I’m very excited. Is there any accessories or modifications you’d recommend for a rtt?
