Mine ended up not being too bad, only tagged them hard on that last obstacle near the top...kickout did it's job nicely

Looked like one of the rocky sections stabbed above the sliders pretty good on the passenger rear door just above the slider.

Yeah it's a very bushy trail (that sounds weird)....some pretty tight spots and the brush out there is very dry and stick-like, not soft at all.

Oh I did spot a mountain lion out there yesterday, I was leading the group and came around a bend and saw a big reddish orange cat jump from behind one of the bushes and race out into the hill. At first glance I didn't know what I saw but then I saw it's huge tail behind it, the tail was longer than it's body. First time I've ever seen one in SoCal in person. I've seen brown bears a few times and some bobcats, but never a cougar

No, ,not at all. If I actually knew my MPG and was trying to be financially responsible I would be driving a Corolla.

Planning a Big Bear trip the 27-28th for anyone interested. I didn't originally want to have a large group but if there's enough interest we can get a group camp site and run different trails. We will likely run a more difficult trail than the typical monthly meet. Just a heads up.

    PM me if interested.

I have that weekend lined up to replace my brake lines, so I won't make it. I'm hoping to do it Saturday, so I can use it to go mountain biking in Big Bear on Sunday. Maybe if the timing works out, I'd be down to meet up for some beers and food Sunday when you guys are off the trail!

Do you have to replace the hard line on that side as well or just the regular line? I forget where it initially broke

If you only have to replace the soft line, we knocked the fronts out on @oni06 's truck really quick since they just screw in. Word of advice...loosen the nut on the line with a flare nut wrench before you remove the C clip lol. We took the C-clips off first and it's almost impossible to loosen the nut without twisting the brake line with it if you do that.

The rears were the most difficult only because they're a little harder to access...but compared to doing them on my 1st gen it was a walk in the park. Mine were a royal PITA

I have to replace the hard line. It broke on the other side of the bracket. I'm going to use some of my free time at work tomorrow to research my options. Someone above mentioned a banjo line that goes straight to the caliper, so I'm interested in that since it seems that would be easier.

Also I'm using this as an excuse to replace (read: upgrade) all 4 of my lines.
