generally speaking you shouldn't have any problems with warranty. they have to prove that what you did directly caused the warranty issue.
if it puts you at ease then i would suggest logging onto www.toyotaowners.com ,create an account and add you vehicle. all dealer maintenace is automatically on there and you can add whatever you want with date and mileage and it is stored on a fancy toyota server.

x2 for registering at the Toyota web site and keeping service records there. They also provide a record of all service performed at Toyota dealers.

It helps to keep oil and filter purchase receipts, just in case the dealer or warranty company tries to make a stink. Any parts you put on, if not genuine Toyota, will not be warrantied by Toyota, no matter what.

I bought my truck new in April and I don't have a warranty certificate or anything. Toyota tracks all of that via the VIN number.

i've input my service records into the owners db and for some reason after days to a couple weeks after they are no longer stored. repeat the input date miles, and service completed and check logs a week or two later and only the dealer history is remains. i went back to the old fashion way, write it down and keep it in the glove box.
