Agreed......I am also thinking homeowner grade compared to commercial grade. The commercial grade is more towards the 2.5 gpm if he rents rather than buys one for himself.

@Bruce988jl you missed out, it was a good run and covered a lot of ground quickly since it was a smaller group of 3 Jeep's, my FJ, a hmmv, and 3rd gen. I think around 25 miles off-road total.

Thing was so damn wide. Fortunately he cleared most of the limbs out of the way for me.

Anyone up for a NMW run sometime September 15th-24th?? (scheduled vacation)...Looking to take the wife with me this time if anyone is interested in joining. Would like to make this a 3 or 4 day adventure. Visit some old logging sites, ghost trains, do some fishing... etc.. in the beginning planning stages now.

Who has a line of a Kubota dealer they like somewhere around MA. I'm willing to work in NY, Southern VT/NH or CT.

Looking at either a tractor or CTL. For the power I want, CTL isn't really a ton different than a tractor would run me, but the upkeep can be more...and the implements seem to be more across the board as well. Need to talk to a dealer and get some more information and learn more about leasing. With a lease set up we can deduct all payments when tax time comes, then if bought after lease is up, can write off all the depreciation at that point. Makes it attractive, especially when we can't afford to buy one straight up anyways!

Main uses will be snowblowing (sick of plowing up piles in our parking lots and not having space towards end of winter for events) some brush cutting and trail creation/maintenance.

I know the tractor is the more economical option in the long run, but I've used some SS in the past and really enjoy running them. The new SVL 65-2 would be a good size for what I am looking to do I think. At this point I've read so much back and forth on every forum and online article I can find, I just need to talk to a dealer and get some real numbers and facts.

I know the folks at Chappell Tractor a little bit. They are highly involved in the snowmobile clubs here in NH. I think they are one of the biggest outfits in NH and they are stand up guys in the club. Although I have never bought a tractor from them I would not hesitate to do so.
