    Mornin' folks :hattip:

    From AlabamaWX
Rain is falling early this morning over the northwest counties of the state, and showers and storms will increase during the afternoon and evening hours when the air is most unstable. The highest coverage of rain will be over the western half of the state, but some places in East Alabama will see a good downpour this afternoon. We note SPC has a “marginal risk” defined today for the northwest corner of the state due to the potential of a brief, isolated spin-up tornado, but the better chance of that will be west of our state.

REST OF THE WEEK: Showers and storms should be fewer in number for most of the state tomorrow; the highest coverage will be over Northwest Alabama and the Tennessee Valley. Heat levels will creep back up with highs in the low 90s for most communities. Then, for the rest of the week, we will mention “scattered, mostly afternoon and evening showers and thunderstorms” each day with a partly sunny sky along with highs in the low 90s. Showers will be harder to find over the southern half of the state, where mid 90s are possible

It's still gonna be hot! Even though we live here in the great state of Alabama, we still never get used to the heat and humidity! I can only imagine what the snowbirds feel when they come down here in the summer!

I don't need to spend money, but I've got Amazon rewards that help go to this so...and it's something I'm going to buy eventually.

I've got 4 of the spotlight cams, it's without a doubt the cheapest subscription based security at $100 a year.

I don't know that it's the absolute best, but since Nest equipment is so high it doesn't matter.

yeah the cost for monitoring and recording is without a doubt the best. I'm really just trying to determine what all I need/want.

I know I want the doorbell, and at least enough security for my exterior doors, which is 4. I would like external cameras and lights as well, but they are too much right now.

Diehards (group 34). Used to be at Sears but Amazon is likely best place to get them now. Researched a lot and you are correct about the Optimas and in particular for dual battery setup.

They are good systems. The only drawback is subscription based cloud storage and power outages. Main reason I went with ubiquiti unifi on a ups. Entire security and network always on at least for a couple hours when power goes out. Also my recordings are on site with redundancy.

This reminds me my ring stuff will be posted for sale if anyone interested. Spotlight and doorbell.

It will be in a few weeks before I remove As they are still attached to my house. 1 spotlight and 1 doorbell. First gen or very early production run.. also the doorbell sometimes needs reset as it gets stuck in infrared mode.
