 if you don't understand how constant down shifting on the highway can hurt gas mileage, I don't know what to tell you.

Totally aware and you like the thousands of us others out there are aware as well. The fix isn't a fix. Either you got the one magic bullet or you are delusional.

Since late 2016 here. No TSB's unless the dealer did them while doing the free service, and didn't mention it .

I guess you decided to continue to troll. No one claimed magic and I haven't claimed any extraordinary mileage. In fact, I am now getting almost what you claimed to get in your tranny thread that I just found.
I had never seen over 16, even stock. Adding steel and 33s brought me down further. Now you can go ahead and go back to complaining about not averaging 20mpg while driving through hills at 80mph like in that thread.

The absolute best I can get on my auto 2017 TRDOR is about 17, if conditions are absolutely perfect. My avg around town is 15, driving lightly.

I could probably use a little TSB action, because all this talk of dudes getting over 20 is bugging me.

What are the magic words my dealership needs to hear in order to get this in for me?

It may not be a magic mpg bullet, but it couldn't hurt, and I'd like to try.

I can't say that I will be getting over 20 avg, but much better now than before. I was where you are at. Told them that I had issues holding gears on the highway. It does hold better now. I also believe in ECT all the time.

I also had the update and immediately felt and saw the difference in my performance and MPG. MPG from 18 and the very best all the way to 20.5 MPG. And, not falling on its face at cruising speed. 2017 TRD Offroad Double Cab.

Driving conditions and driving style are the difference. Magic words to a dealer won't change either of those.

Not really understanding your point other than pointing out that I am pretty well versed on the subject. Stalk me a little more and you will find other posts where I shared my love post EUC update where not much changed and none of it was exactly positive. I still get the same shitty shifting at on the highway and the annoying stuttering around 50mph. Somehow you want us to believe that you had the exact same update and a miracle occurred? Thank you Jesus!

It’s actually impressive how well they transition these days. You would have never known.
