    Fucking parts jockeys! Went to advance auto to get a wheel stud. It's for a lawnmower, "oh I can't look that up, I have no way to find that". Sorry ass!

    I asked if I could just look at them and measure then she walks off and hollers back "what was that measurement?" I tried to tell her the measurements starting with the length and she walked off again. This is gonna be a chore...

    "we don't have any that measure 1-7/8" Well that's because you don't know how to measure a wheel stud. Here's the part number I stood here and looked up.

    You need to got to a Napa store set up for commercial vehicle repair, the one on corner of Yeargen and 70 in Garner is such a place, or around the corner at Loop Rd auto parts
    Your typical parts jerk at Vatozone hasn’t a clue

    I was just dumbfounded by her immediate response blaming it on the computer. I know they aren't super knowledgable but I expect them to try a little bit more than that. I got a set, 0.566" knurl is just too big apparently. Took them back to CarQuest and the dude there was much better, still had a deer in the headlights look when I told him it was for a lawnmower but was going to ask for a part number or something as I was telling him the number. Got-r-dun no more "farmer fixes"

    Assumed axles would be a lot worse than they were 2.5 hours total for both sides. Drivers side was getting bad. Anybody want a trail spare the passenger side is usable.

    $235 and about an hour and a half, would have been less, but i had to reposition the motor once. pretty simple really. plug and play for the most part.
