Yea I probably wouldn’t do them for a daily, but for 99, screw it.

Snow reviews on the tire are decent though

Do you have DRL’s already? Those are what are called switchbacks. However mine are wired to the running lamps and headlights. Turn signal switches to amber and back automatically.

Yeah, I know what MTs are gonna be like in snow. Great in the dry powdery stuff, but unfortunately snow on roads never stays like that. Gotta have lots of little sipes to make slush, snow, and ice decent

I’ve been fine with the Dick Cepeks, so that’s what I’m going off of.
Good thing about what I do is I’m on the road before anyone and by the time I come back the snows off the road.

I always get the Discount Tire/America's Tire warranty when I get my tires from them. Every vehicle I've had in the past, that warranty pays for itself after one use let alone multiple uses.

Of course the ONE time I didn't opt for the warranty was when I first got these STMaxx, because they were already expensive as hell and I never had gotten a flat with my truck yet at the time. Then of course on my first trip with them I blew the sidewall on one. Went back to America's Tire ready to pay full price for a new one and a spare, and they let me purchase the warranty retroactively to cover the damaged tire so long as I bought my spare tire through them. So I ended up getting the spare and the new tire + warranty for about 2/3 what I would have spent on 2 new tires and no warranty. Was pretty cool of them.

35s will start to look small, those wheel wells just eat up tires. But fortunately small and large tires look great on the 80 series

Falken wild peak and most of the Falken are pretty underrated tires. I've always heard good, never bad, about them. I wanna say Cooper or something makes Falken?

Had run this setup forever until I put the ARB on the taco.

The Dick Cepeks seem like they keep climbing in price lately, I feel like they used to be considerably cheaper than BFG or Cooper but now they're only slightly less expensive. Wonder if it's cause they're getting more popular. Only about $20 less per tire than the STmaxx are now.

I initially wanted the Wildpeak AT tires last time but they don't make them in 255/85r16 unfortunately.

This was continually one of my biggest complaints with the Taco, fitting a decent sized tire is nightmarish, you're hard limited on width and diameter unless you take out floorspace (not easy for tall me). 11 and 12 inch wide tires ride much nicer. Right now it's like supermarket sweep with the cruiser I can fit just about anything, which is a different problem cause now I have choices :/

Thats good...you gonna take it if they offer you the same or more than the new company?

I've thought about applying elsewhere just to see what offers are like...but there'd have to be a lot more on the table. I currently live only a 10 minute city street drive from work where most people in LA spend 1.5 hrs or more in traffic every day just getting to/from their jobs. I really don't want to lose that perk lol.

Both, well maybe 33 / 37. Larger ones will be for wheeling and the 33s will be for daily and winter duty
