No trace of my call yesterday to the A.C. people.
Told them to replace it, I'm done with them trying to fix it.

They will be out between 4 and 6.

 

What’s broken? AC system is just a bunch of switches and ducting.

 

Picked and snapped a mess of beans and cooked with a few pork belly chunks. not sure whether to fry this squash or hang on my truck hitch. hehehe

Prefer real Reuben myself also, use pastrami might as well put coleslaw on it hold the kraut and call it a Rachel. Although I did have to convince several people when I moved here that slaw is also a condiment, not just a side.

Whenever I shoot clays at Horse and Hunt I get a Reuben for lunch, they have always been perfect. The last time however I remembered how corned beef that isn't perfect can ruin a perfectly good sandwich first time it has happened there.

Next brisket I do will be a Prime grade from Costco. I will cut the point off and do burnt ends with it. Then split the flat in half, half will be corned beef and the other half pastrami. That way I KNOW it will be perfect. Even if I decide I want a Rachel instead of a Reuben

 

Gonna braise for 2-3 hours!!

 

For some reason thought of something hadn't in a long time. Katz's Deli scene from "When Harry met Sally" and her faking an orgasm to prove to him that women can and do fake orgasms. Katz's Deli at one time was the most famous place in the country for pastrami, and when that hit me I started laughing out loud. Thanks for that



I'll have what she's having LOL.

 

It's the drain. This guy is replacing it. He can't figure out why no one replaced it.

Alright ,
Since this wonderful state is getting rid of plastic bags for grocery stores in a few months who has bought decent canvas replacements ?I have been persuing different ones but was hoping for real world use info.

Problem is, canvas and the trader joe plastic ones, get stained with raw meat juice and other nasties, then you throw your fresh veggies in the same bag. Make sure it can be washed and is big enough to carry alot.

 

Yeah I was going to get a couple of the cold bags for meat and such they look washable .

Instead of spending money at Amazon during their Prime Days event I just saved $75 at Summitracing on much needed parts
