You couldn’t do neither and just fit it in there without doing any of that just in the opening? Even if you switched the two Harnesses around and traded places? I’m glad you got it installed and are enjoying it

The wires won't fit together in the same connector. Uness I did something wrong? I noticed there was exposed wire with connectors, then the wire loom, then a gap of exposed wire again then the long length of the loom.. is there a reason for that? Either way I'm happy with the install.

Whaaaatttt??!! That was going to be my only complaint, but the pop n lock is loud too, so was my old Ram. So I thought that's just the way it is. Also the rod does not push the lock quite far enough to engage fully but tapping the lock button twice instead of once solves that.

    Still going through the PM's?

Payment sent for a kit 6/26, didn't get a response yet.

Didn't expect to make and receive my order from mobtown for a reinforced tailgate before even getting a pm response. :p

    VERY IMPORTANT!!!!!

Please pay attention to the payment process when placing your order. There are too many people complaining about not receiving confirmation when they don't even complete the payment process!! The last step of the process is to PM me for confirmation that I have received your payment, as well as send me your full name and shipping information to be able to (1) connect your payment to your Username, (2) update you to the CURRENT ORDER LIST, & (3) ship your package to you when it is ready to be shipped.

    PLEASE NOTE:

If you do not comply with these steps, I am unable to follow-through with communication on my end and therefore you will not get confirmation in a timely manner nor will you get your package. It is not my responsibility to make sure you follow directions. Please comply with the ordering process as I have many customers ordering and as you can tell by my CURRENT ORDER LIST, I have kept up pretty well with all of my orders that have been placed if you ask me.

Since I was the last comment, I'll make note I followed all directions to the letter.

    Thanks.

That comment wasn't referring to just you as I have received MANY comments and MANY have not followed through with the final step. I have searched all of my PMs and I do not have a PM from you that has your Completed information with your Full Name and Shipping Information. Please resend. I only have one PM that was sent from you and it was the following conversation. Thank you and it is greatly appreciated. It is not a big deal now that I know. I will be able to add you to the list and make sure everything gets in order. I'm just explaining to everyone how things can get overlooked if the process is not followed with all of the orders that flow through each day.

Making support of users public again, ....ok.

My forum user name and full shipping informationi was included in the payment, it was not clear that a duplicate of the information was needed in the confirmation pm as well.

I'm not an idiot and can follow directions, but if those directions are not very explicit and detailed then things can be missed.

    Have a good day.

Update on the new version of the connector rod in development . This will eliminate the random errors in the stainless rod .the new connector is just as strong and just as reliable . On install it would require one extra nut and bolt witch would be included in all the kits .

No these will not be in production until most likely the release of the Tailgate Opener which is soon but not quite yet.

How much are we talking here? Wondering if it's worth the upgrade...

Also was there any thought on having some sort of plastic bushing on the hole that attaches to the lock? It seems like repeated use the bracket might dig into the plastic lock lever over time?

The aluminum rod over the lock lever shouldn’t have any issues . I gave the aluminum rod clearance around the plastic lever . Also the plastic lock lever is some really thick plastic as well . I’ll get some better pictures this weekend .
