Most of you may have one of these stores in your neck of the woods, but I had to drive 3 hours away to find one this weekend.
Well,I didn't travel there to find one, but when i saw it, I had to go in.

I highly recommend it if you a looking for a truck box or towing trailer, but that's about it....(unless you want farming or hunting supplies, which is fine too)
had i seen the range of truck boxes, i would have waited to buy one there.

but this is where i start to bitch again. WHAT IS IT ABOUT SOUTHERN U.S
automotive supply chains that are still hung up on the 'anti-japanese' truck bullshit?
ALL they, or pep boys, etc ever carry is accessories for DODGE, FORD, or CHEVY.
in particular, i'm talking bed stuff. they had bedmats and other bed accessories, but only for those three 'american' trucks. NOTHING else.

and you know what? they were covered in dust because most everyone i saw in that town was driving a Taco or Tundra or Nissan.

When are they going to get over the pride and start selling compatible accessories?!
i know toyota is very limited in what they sell with their logo on it,so i'm not talking about that stuff. i'm talking about all the generic stuff made to fit our trucks.

they had a toyo liner?- or you made one work?
maybe they were just all out of toyo stuff for me that day, but they looked fully stocked. no empty spaces

i just had to rant because it's like, the 10th consecutive place i've been to in GA that has nothing but dodge, chevy and ford crap only.

No, it wasn't a Toyota bed liner. An aftermarket slab of rubber that I cut to size. It was a fraction of the cost...I think $30 bucks...

sorry, my rants can be a little unclear....but i imagine each chain orders a little bit based on their locale,
and in the south i find an anti-japanese bias towards truck parts in major chains....in my experience.
    guess i'm just unlucky.

    That’s cool.

The south has the good and bad.

We gave the world Home Depot:) (Georgia) and Wal-Mart:( (Arkansas).

But your right I have had Toyotas since 1988 and finding accessories is a pain in the A$$.

I spend a lot of time on the Internet looking for accessories.

Not defending but not many people farm with toyotas. Never saw a tacoma or tundra in the fields hauling the rice carts or plowing through the mud to go fix the tractor. It is called Tractor Supply. I do however know what you mean about the pep boys and autozones.

It's all about supply & demand.

They don't carry OUR products because there is a lack of people buying them. That's it.... How many Dodge,Fords,Chevy's do you see on the road versus how many tacomas?

They're not gonna stock their shelves with stuff that ain't gonna sell.

I love Tractor Supply. We used to have one 5 minutes from my house but they've since moved to be 30 minutes from my house!!!

Gotta have that second cup of java before posting....I purchased material that I made into a "bed mat" not a liner. Sorry for the misinformation.

Yup, get a horse stall mat, cut it to fit. Just about bullet proof.

"Most of you may have one of these stores in your neck of the woods, but I had to drive 3 hours away to find one this weekend.

Are you in Savannah Ga? I know you said you didn't have to "TRAVEL" there but the 3 hours makes it sound like you had a trek. There is one in Rincon Ga, a whole 20 miles away.

You bitch and moan about "no one" carry your stuff. What you failed to tell us is who IS carrying your stuff. PepBoys, AutoZone,Advanced can get you whatever you need in about 2 days. How long does it take to get things you ordered off the internet? 2 days? So it's up to all these suppliers to carry things that YOU want. Pretty tall order.

Slow day? Nothing else bothering you I guess so you needed to find something.

hey fwiw.........toyota wont let alot of places carry stuff with their logos on them. kinda like not letting haynes or chilton make a shop manual for the newer tacomas. ford, chevy and dodge lets damn near everyone carry their merchandise., so im not really sure its the stores themself.
